Carole Spiers MBE - The Love & Relationship Expert

As an expert on love and relationships, Carole knows the importance of establishing a rapport with her clients from the outset. She has developed her caring skills so that clients feel completely at ease with her. Her experience as a Relate-trained counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) means that she always handles sensitive issues with empathy and understanding. Being able to encourage a relaxed two-way dialogue, Carole can help people achieve positive change in their lives.
Carole is trained to speak confidentially over the telephone and has volunteered with the Samaritans for many years. She has also worked for Crisis, the charity dedicated to providing comfort and companionship to homeless people. Over the past 30 years she has also had experience of training aid-workers and counselling refugees, and undertakes pro-bono work for townships in South Africa, helping local women become independent and self-sufficient.
Carole's credibility is rooted in twenty years as a leading authority on workplace stress, and she runs a leading stress management consultancy. She is author of Tolley's Managing Stress in the Workplace and has recently had a new book, Show Stress Who's Boss, published. She is Chair of the International Stress Management Association UK (ISMA) and has successfully launched ISMA’s annual National Stress Awareness Day event.
Carole is a highly respected motivational speaker, who combines inspiration with insight. As a speaker she is in demand internationally and is Past President of the London Chapter of the Professional Speaking Association. She is regularly called upon by the national press and media for comment.
