Stress gives us plenty of warning that it is creeping up on us and doing us harm but more than not we choose to ignore the warning signs. That extra glass of wine each night, drunk in an attempt to blot out stress-related negative feelings is only the beginning. Because adrenaline runs high in a stressed people, we may take unnecessary or unusual risks and we may experience frequent headaches and problems with our digestive system and mood swings/ temper tantrums may become a feature of a normally well balanced person.
