Anxiety and depression can creep up on you without warning and often appear on the surface to come from nowhere. The awful wet and miserable weather we are having combined with the uncertain economic climate does not help lift depression and ease anxiety so if you feel your anxieties are overwhelming you it may be time to seek help.

Do not despair, help is hand. Pressure gets to us all to a greater or lesser extent and if it is unremitting it can easily turn into stress. Anxiety, panic attacks and depression are all common responses to stress but with a little help it is possible to negate these feelings.
Is Worry Caused by Stress or Stress Caused by Worry?

What really stuck in my mind was the following quotation ''worry never solves the problems of tomorrow, but robs today of its joy'' What a profound statement this is but try as we may it is not necessarily easy just to put our worries aside. It is possible to be a compulsive worrier both about the future or even the past and such worry does indeed rob us of the joy for the here and now.
